Canary Islands Honey Rum
Intense mahogany color with a pronounced aroma of orange and honey, with hints of orange blossom or even caramel.
Canary Islands Honey Rum is a Canary Islands liqueur obtained from the perfect combination of Canarian rum and honey. This rum has a deep mahogany color and a strong aroma of orange and honey. On the palate, it is smooth and warm. It's important to know that this is a traditional liqueur containing at least 2% honey. Its flavor includes honey and orange, among other nuances such as orange blossom or even a touch of caramel. Its finish is long-lasting. One of the traditional ways to enjoy it is in a shot glass topped with whipped cream and a touch of cinnamon.
ARTEMI Distilleries
The name Artemi comes from a historical figure in the Canary Islands. Artemi, the aboriginal king, unified the government of Gran Canaria under his name. He died in 1405. The rum bearing his name embodies the values of a bygone era: honor, struggle, strength, and tradition. Artemi preserves the tradition of the secrets of fine rum; a culture that stretches from the 15th century to the present day. Canarian rum is considered one of the best in the world.
The history of the ARTEMI Rum and Liqueur Factory dates back to 1940. Artemi is one of the leading rum producers in the Canary Islands, with over 85 years of experience dedicated to the production of rum, honey rum, gin, and liqueurs. Artemi's artisanal secrets and quality are among the most distinctive values of the Canary Islands. Currently, it boasts a wide range of rums and honey rums, as well as liqueurs and gin, under its brands ARTEMI, INDIAS, and CARMELA GIN. Their latest release is Carmela Gin, the only guava and mango gin.
In September 2003, the Artemi Rum and Liqueurs factory moved to new, modern facilities of approximately 10,000 square meters in the Salinetas Industrial Park in Telde, Gran Canaria.
